A simple, unisex adult hat with an easy colorwork pattern. It’s warm without being too bulky.
The design for this hat is based on a skit by comedian Eddie Izzard titled “Death Star Canteen” and a discussion with my brother and my daughter. Will you be mistaken for that guy who runs the Death Star?
This hat knits ups quickly and is designed to work with 2 colors of Yough DK.
The hat is worked in one piece and the pattern is charted.
The pattern is sized to fit the average adult head with a 20-22 inch head circumference (50-56 cm). It is designed to be worn like a skull cap but depth can easily be added.
